At Nate’s, we believe honey is more than just a sweetener – it can bring comfort, joy and hope to families in need. That’s why, as part of our Honey Gives Hope program, we’ve donated more than 3,000 pounds of our 100% pure honey to five food banks across the U.S. this summer.
When school’s out for summer, many families lose access to meals normally provided through school programs. By supplying 100% pure honey, Nate’s hopes to offer a small comfort to children and families who would not normally have access to an all-natural sweetener.
This year’s donations of Nate’s honey minis are going to:
- Tarrant Area Food Bank in Fort Worth, Tex.
- Kids’ Meals Inc. in Houston
- Central Pennsylvania Food Bank in Williamsport, Penn.
- Food Lifeline in Seattle
- Maryland Food Bank in Baltimore
This is our third product donation of the year and the second summer in a row we’ve supported families heading into the summer months. Our Honey Gives Hope initiative is all about serving beyond the bottle. Through product and financial donations, we partner with non-profits that nourish communities, empower women and children and support bee health and research.
